We at “Dry Eye Explained” are a group of optometrists (OD) specializing in ocular surface disease. Our aim is to provide education about dry eye and highlight some of the latest research in this space.

With over 30+ years of clinical practice, we have heard the same dry eye complaints over and over again. Patients who have seen multiple doctors, only to be dismissed with a sample bottle of drops. Patients are frustrated because their symptoms are affecting their work and their quality of life. They have tried many treatments but none seem to be helping. Very little education or information was also provided to them about their condition
